Posselt: I am Not Offended by Crvenkovski...

I cannot understand how someone who had been leader of the country, can speak in such a manner to a friend to Macedonia and to a man who has been fighting for Macedonia for 15 years. This is incomprehensible for me, German MEP Bernd Posselt stated. Posselt last month in Skopje spoke about chances that Macedonia missed in the past for joining faster in the Euro-Atlantic processes and accused SDSM leader Branko Crvenkovski for presenting criticism about Macedonia in Brussels.

Parliament's Rules of Procedures to be debated on Tuesday

MPs will debate changes to the Rules of Procedures at Tuesday's plenary session. This was agreed at a coordination meeting on Monday with Parliament Speaker Trajko Veljanoski, which was attended by representatives of opposition parties following a weeks-long boycott. It was agreed the opposition as well to propose items on the agenda every second plenary session. SDSM's request involving the establishment of special committee controlling budget expenditures was not discussed at the meeting, VMRO-DPMNE deputies said.

President Ivanov to open power electronics conference in Ohrid

PM: The 90's are still costing Macedonia today

Milososki: Greece burdened by Past... Can't Accept Reality

The Republic of Greece rhetorically declares that it negotiates only on dispute it has with our constitutional name but essentially and in practice it can be noted that in Greece, Macedonian identity, existence of the Republic of Macedonia, our constitutional name, the issue of existence or non-existence of minorities, are a taboo topic which burdens modern Greek society, FM Antonio Milososki stated.

Macedonia Remember Ohrid Lake Tragedy 1 Year Later

Bulgaria and Macedonia have marked with memorial services the first year since the death of 15 Bulgarian tourists in the Ohrid Lake on September 5, 2010.
The 15 people drowned in the lake because of the sinking of the antiquated tourist boat Ilinden. The tragedy was remembered with a memorial in the St. Nikola church in Ohrid Sunday morning. Dozens of Bulgarians traveled to the Macedonian town to pay respects to the memory of their relatives and friends.

Ivanov meets government officials ahead of Brussels visit

Reforms in judiciary and administration, the breakthrough made in terms of economic criteria, the pre-accession economic program, laws aimed to improve most of the areas and the process of harmonizing the Macedonian legislation with EU's, were some of the topics discussed at Friday's meeting between President Gjorge Ivanov and Vice PM for European Affairs Vasko Naumovski, Vice PM and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski, Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki and Minister of Justice Mihajlo Manevski.

PM Gruevski holds press conference on his Cabinet's results

Opposition urges interior minister to resign

The opposition Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) has said that the country has turned into a cowboy state during the four-year governance of Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, Macedonian Dnevnik daily writes.
SDSM has urged Interior Minister Gordana Jankulovska to tender her resignation over the shooting in Skopje on Thursday evening.

Government seizes 20m Euros worth of Illegally acquired Properties
Skopje, September 3, 2010 (HIM)
The state seized illegal property, worth around 20 million euros.
The police have seized several apartments, business buildings, bonds and shares in several banks across the country. This action was conducted because the convicted didn't return the illegally acquired property.
Minister of Justice Mihajlo Manevski made the remarks and explained that the property was seized under the law.
